Let's talk about what are my music preferences. That depends whom you ask. Nobody asks me, so there's no need to discuss that point of view. My mom keeps on existing on classical music (or if I'm lucky on Leonard Cohen), thinking that that might put me to sleep faster or calm me down. No use - in vain. If you ask my father, well nobody asks him either too much, he would probably experiment with Metallica for a while, just until I would assure him that my bass is louder than theirs. I know for sure that if you asked nona Branka we would all enjoy the sound of silence. And for the other grandparents, dunno - I didn't get them too much. To cut the story short: zurzeit I'm serenaded with Liszts, Schuberts, Minuets and other calming Rhapsodies
