SS 2010 rtw

It's the season of wispy fabric, vivid colors, off-pastels and geometric prints. Allegra is just tired of babies wearing bodies and jumpsuits this season, and inspired by the latest must have gadget - Fisher Price Rain Forest playmate, her underlaying message for this season is, duh, be an individual!

4 MONTHS and things around it

Hi y'all! Was not writing for a while, was incredibly tired from multiple awakenings in the night. Its the same scenario every night and I'm always saying the same thing to my parents over and over again:" Hey, its the middle of the night, its dark and no fun. I'm sort of awake and in my crib, I'm tired and I don't know how to go back to sleep without mom nursing me or dad walking me up and down the hallway, or someone help me find my pacifier. So now I'm going to do the only thing I can. I'm gonna cry!" Got sei Dank that mama is putting me through a new regime in the night (no food till 5 and I can scream as much as I want). Vicious, mom!
My milestones this month: I'm laughing out loud, not only that I'm answering when being asked but I also attempt to start a chat, I'm rolling from my back to my tummy and sometimes vice versa. My mouth is still my favorite tool for exploring, sometimes I plop my pacifier out, hold it up and stare cross-eyed then start sucking on it again - "ah,...so that is how it looks!"
Back to the nice topics. After a long time I finally get the chance to play with Maya. She was playing and I was watching. Maya is my friend. I don't know if any of us know it yet, but our moms do and our dads planned a bright future for us (something what should look like "Sisters act part 3" - in other words they plan to enroll us in a monastery-no boys aloud-place). Vicious, dad!
So here are some pics of Maya and me on Sunday picnic and back in the days.

2 WEEKS IN CROATIA

There it was: 2 weeks in my mama's land. Traveled from Germany through Austria, funny little country Slovenia and finally after 9 hours we arrived in Croatia. I was greeted by my nona, deda, uncle and gran-grandma in a peaceful little village where my gran-grandma lives. In a second everybody was all over me with some sounds like ah-gooooh gaaaah. Did they forget to talk when they saw me, or what?! So I cooed back to my caregivers and gave them a big smile and a wiggle. And then we bonded. For the next 2 weeks they didn't let me out of their sight, and I was the center of attention. The star was born. Slowly they were building a new routine in my daily schedule. They were putting me to sleep 5 minutes after I woke up trying to reassure my mother that that is actually what babies should be doing and what they need. Unfortunately for my mom, after 16 hours of sleep during the day I didn't have any need to sleep during the night. She was not very happy.
Already 2nd day after I came to Croatia, my parents made a big party by auntie Andrijana (thanks again teta Andrijana, I'll give you a big kiss as soon as I learn how to). Everybody who means something in this country came: teta Billy, Bojana, Evica, Goga, Ivana, Maja and their better halfs, and my very dear friends Franka, Juraj, Lovro, Petar and Sasha (Karlo was unfortunately home - due to the attack of a evil chickenpox). Lots of babies and lots of milk party. Yes, my daddy was unpleasantly surprised with the low consumption of the vine Croats drank at the party. Its a wind of change daddy!
And there it was 2 weeks of fresh village air, I grew a lot they say, and now I'm back waiting my German football team to win the World cup in Africa.
So long my Croatian family!
